Art Herstory’s newest store partner is the Baltimore Museum of Art (BMA) Shop!
These cards complement an important new BMA exhibition—Making Her Mark: A History of Women Artists in Europe, 1400–1800. From royal portraits and devotional sculptures to embroidered objects, tapestries, costumes, wax sculptures, metalwork, ceramics, graphic arts, furniture, and more, Making Her Mark features some 250 early modern objects that reflect women’s contributions to the visual arts of Europe. The show opened in Baltimore on October 1, where it will run until January 7, 2024. Making Her Mark then moves to Toronto, where the Art Gallery of Ontario will host the exhibition beginning in March 2024.
Among the Art Herstory products now available for purchase in Baltimore are:
- Individual note cards in a dozen different designs;
- Six different themed note card 6-packs;
- Our Lavinia Fontana Holy Family with Saint Catherine porcelain ornament; and
- Holiday cards: Artemisia Gentileschi Adoration of the Magi Boxed Christmas cards; Artemisia Gentileschi Adoration of the Magi individual Christmas cards; and Priscilla Susan Bury individual Amaryllis holiday cards.
It is Art Herstory’s pleasure and a privilege to partner with the BMA Shop. When you visit the Making Her Mark exhibition, don’t forget to stop into the store for the exhibition catalog, Art Herstory cards, and many other unique gifts!
