What an honor—Art Herstory note cards are now available at Washington DC’s iconic Politics and Prose Bookstore! A DC institution since 1984, Politics and Prose is, according to the store’s website, “devoted to cultivating community and strengthening the common good through books, programs, and a respectful exchange of ideas. We’re committed to exceptional customer service and to the values of independence, inclusion, and diversity.”
The list of Art Herstory products now at the store includes:
Floral & botanical 6-pack samplers;
Dutch & Flemish artists 6-pack samplers; and
Boxed sets of 10 Amaryllis holiday cards (art by Priscilla Susan Bury; original watercolor held at the Minneapolis Institute of Art)
and also these Art Herstory note cards, sold individually, which reproduce:
- The Art Institute of Chicago‘s Louise Moillon fruit & vegetable still life;
- Judith Leyster’s younger self-portrait (original at the National Gallery of Art); and
- The Rachel Ruysch floral still life held at Kunstmuseum Basel.
Art Herstory is excited to partner with such a storied Washington DC institution. If you live in or visit the DC area, please stop by the store and ask to see their Art Herstory offerings (as well as their other terrific books & sidelines)!
